From October 27 to 30, Viccarbe returns to Cologne for Orgatec 2026, one of the leading international events dedicated to workspaces and professional environments. The brand is premiering designs still under wraps, alongside its most recent collections, material updates to established pieces in the catalog, and a selection of timeless designs for professional settings.
The space that hosts them is part of the story. The Viccarbe stand has no walls in the conventional sense: its temporary architecture turns to textile as a building material, with fabric walls and ceilings dividing the different settings and guiding visitors through the stand.
A textile architecture
To build this architecture, Viccarbe has chosen TelaMia, the collection designed by Giulio Ridolfo for Kvadrat. Hung as curtains, the fabric divides the stand into four areas, defining each one without closing it off, with the softly filtered light of a pliable material.
On the stand, the qualities of the fabric carry over into the space. Color, which Ridolfo integrates into the very structure of the yarn rather than applying it to the surface, lends depth to walls and ceilings and brings warmth to each setting. Its composition, 100% post-consumer recycled polyester and recyclable, means the fair’s temporary architecture is built from a material that comes from recycling and can return to it. TelaMia is also part of Viccarbe’s textile catalog within G1, the first price group: the same fabric that builds walls in Cologne can also be specified to upholster pieces from the collection.
