Orgatec’26: New Designs, in a Space Built with Textile

7 October, 2026

From October 27 to 30, Viccarbe returns to Cologne for Orgatec 2026, one of the leading international events dedicated to workspaces and professional environments. The brand is premiering designs still under wraps, alongside its most recent collections, material updates to established pieces in the catalog, and a selection of timeless designs for professional settings.

The space that hosts them is part of the story. The Viccarbe stand has no walls in the conventional sense: its temporary architecture turns to textile as a building material, with fabric walls and ceilings dividing the different settings and guiding visitors through the stand.

A textile architecture

To build this architecture, Viccarbe has chosen TelaMia, the collection designed by Giulio Ridolfo for Kvadrat. Hung as curtains, the fabric divides the stand into four areas, defining each one without closing it off, with the softly filtered light of a pliable material.

On the stand, the qualities of the fabric carry over into the space. Color, which Ridolfo integrates into the very structure of the yarn rather than applying it to the surface, lends depth to walls and ceilings and brings warmth to each setting. Its composition, 100% post-consumer recycled polyester and recyclable, means the fair’s temporary architecture is built from a material that comes from recycling and can return to it. TelaMia is also part of Viccarbe’s textile catalog within G1, the first price group: the same fabric that builds walls in Cologne can also be specified to upholster pieces from the collection.

What’s next, first at Orgatec

Not everything Viccarbe brings to Orgatec can be shown just yet. The fair will be the chosen stage to present, for the first time, designs that will join the collection later on: proposals that can only be seen firsthand at the Cologne stand, ahead of their public launch.

New ways to connect

Alongside these premieres, Viccarbe presents some of its most recent collections. Missiva, by Luca Pevere, leads the selection: a configurable system that becomes a sofa, armchair, bench, or pouf as arms and backrests are added or removed. Next to it, Manto, Monica Armani‘s first design for the brand, offers a generously scaled armchair built around freedom of movement. Cubow, Meike Harde‘s debut for Viccarbe, explores the tension between geometric lines and organic curves in a sofa and an armchair with soft, rounded forms.

The fair will also reveal material and format updates to established pieces in the catalog. Marble extends its presence with tabletops for Burin, by Patricia Urquiola, and Cambio, by Víctor Carrasco. Both tables also debut, together with Trestle, by John Pawson, formats designed for larger teams and workspaces.

Aleta, by Jaime Hayon, grows with three new versions: Aleta Plus, with a wider seat designed for larger frames; Aleta Mini Lounge, which brings the lounge chair to a smaller scale for more compact interiors; and Aleta Executive Low, with a lower backrest. Noha, by Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba, adds a cantilever base to its chair family and is the only piece in the selection in glossy chrome, while Perxa, by Piero Lissoni, and Funda, by Stefan Diez, gain a satin chrome finish.

A selection for professional spaces

Alongside the new arrivals, the stand makes room for two timeless designs from the catalog. Foro, by John Pawson, and Fuste, by Víctor Carrasco, complete the exhibition and show their enduring relevance in professional office environments.
