The Cube House – Greece
A playful game between cubic volumes, strict on the exterior and soft on the interiors. The interior design of the Cube House is based on natural materials, offering the comforts of a modern family life in the south of Attica, Greece.
Wood plays a dominant role in all areas and fresh earthy colors such as terracotta chosen for the Ace armchair contrast with grey Levitt pieces.
Allowing the family to have gatherings, the heart of the house is the kitchen. With a welcoming island, the space is dressed with versatile Aleta stools, designed by Jaime Hayon for Viccarbe.
The design of the house followed the standards of sustainability, starting from the integration of a green roof and plenty of natural plants. At the same time, the use of materials with a low energy production footprint were a strategic choice from the beginning of the design proposal.
