NeoCon 2026: a new chapter alongside our designers

More than a presentation of new products, NeoCon 2026 marked the beginning of a new chapter for Viccarbe’s showroom in Chicago.

Over the course of the week, visitors discovered Missiva by Luca Pevere, Manto by Monica Armani and the new Cubow Sofa by Meike Harde, alongside the latest evolution of Burin by Patricia Urquiola. Together, these collections explored different ways of understanding timelessness and human connection in contemporary interiors.

At the centre of the showroom, Missiva explored the idea of connection through a configurable system designed for the many ways people meet, wait, converse and spend time together. Inspired by the meaning of its name, the collection approaches furniture as a setting for relationships and experiences.

This idea extended beyond the collection itself through a conceptual installation created specifically for NeoCon. Inspired by the image of a letter, black envelopes arranged across a vibrant orange backdrop recreated the collection’s name within the showroom, translating its founding concept into a physical presence that welcomed visitors throughout the week.

Alongside the collections, the showroom became a place for encounters. Conversations emerged around design and materiality, while visitors explored the exhibition at their own pace.

One of the highlights of the week was a special Meet&Greet with Luca Pevere, Monica Armani and Rubén Mateos Brea. Bringing together designers and brand lovers the gathering offered an opportunity to discuss creative processes and engage directly with some of the minds behind the collections.

The week culminated with the recognition of Missiva by Luca Pevere with the 2026 HiP Award in the Workplace: Lounge Collection category. The award reflects the strong reception the collection has received across the American market.

The presentation of Viccarbe’s latest collections extended beyond THE MART. At our partner Steelcase’s space in Fulton Market, Viccarbe’s collections were also on display, including a different configuration of Missiva. Presented in a new context, the composition highlighted the collection’s adaptability and its ability to support a variety of spatial needs while maintaining its distinctive character.
