Soft seating: the sofa as architecture for connection

11 March, 2026

The evolution of shared spaces in professional environments has blurred traditional rigidity and compartmentalization, giving way to more open and flexible configurations where well-being and connection take priority. In this context, soft seating emerges as a versatile and ergonomic solution, capable of adapting to both corporate languages and more creative approaches, depending on the needs of the project.

Pieces such as the sofa become key elements from which to enjoy a moment of pause or waiting, but also serve as settings for spontaneous meetings, teamwork, or informal conversations beyond more structured areas. With different sizes, heights, and designs that define their use and integration into interior design — and in dialogue with complementary pieces — soft seating responds to the contemporary way of inhabiting shared spaces in offices, hotels, airports, cultural venues, as well as educational and healthcare environments.

Missiva – connection at the right height

Our latest collection — the first in collaboration with Luca Pevere — introduces a seating system built around a compact sofa from which different configurations emerge. Fabric personalization and Missiva’s distinctive stitching bring identity, while its active and comfortable seat position it as a key piece in waiting and conversation areas. Together with the bench, pouf, or lounge chair, it allows for compositions at different scales within contemporary soft seating.

Cubow – sculpturally soft

The contrast between geometric volume and organic lines defines the Cubow sofa, designed by Meike Harde. A versatile solution that, without being excessive, stands out through the presence and protagonism of the upholstery. The possibility of playing with material finishes allows the aesthetic and configuration of welcome areas, waiting zones, or collaborative workspaces to be precisely defined.

Savina – cloud-like islands

The interplay of volumes in the Savina sofa creates true islands within a space. Its generous dimensions and comfort make it ideal for professional and hospitality environments, with the flexibility to transition into residential settings as well. Its strong visual presence coexists with a sober integration into different contexts, enabling larger, customized compositions.

Sistema legs – infinite modularity

The modular system designed by Lievore Altherr Molina offers a compact solution in which the softness of the seat contrasts with the defined structure of the armrests. Conceived for waiting, working, resting, or conversational areas, the configurability of seats, backrests, legs, armrests, and accessories makes Sistema legs a highly functional and adaptable piece, able to respond to different interior design needs.

Levitt – embracing collaboration

Designed by Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba, the Levitt sofa presents a distinctive yet balanced design. An invitation to collaborate in shared environments, its refined 360º silhouette allows it to be positioned both individually and in open compositions. From retail to contract or office settings, the collection embraces moments of connection and collaboration.
