Feria Hábitat València welcomed over 40,000 visitors in 2025, in an edition shortened to three days due to the cancellation of Monday, September 29, following a red weather alert. It was a successful turnout in a year when we chose the fair as the stage to celebrate our 25th anniversary and our recent National Design Award in the “Design and Business” category.

Feria Hábitat València 2025: object, profession and history
22 October, 2025
Timeless novelties
The Manto lounge chair, designed by Monica Armani, was showcased in a set of four with a swivel base, combining neutral tones in contrast with its wooden backrest to highlight its character. The Cubow collection by Meike Harde invited visitors to experience the comfort of its sofa and two armchairs in earthy tones. Its voluptuous yet simple design captivated everyone who took a seat.

The Foro table by John Pawson, in a 280×120 cm format, offered an elegant and understated solution for meetings or collaborative work, with multiple configuration possibilities. Meanwhile, the Burin table by Patricia Urquiola, featuring a green Alpi marble top, together with the timeless Perxa chair by Piero Lissoni, completed an ensemble of discreet elegance that stood out among professionals and the general public alike.
The Dune, Loop, and Up lighting models by Arkoslight, along with the Colorado rug by Nanimarquina, created an atmosphere of warmth and sophistication across every set.

Orange light and suspended tools: the beginning of our 25th anniversary
“The Viccarbe stand for Feria Hábitat València could be seen as two independent spaces, yet it was conceived as a single environment that makes sense only when both areas connect through the small corridor,” explains Rubén Mateos Brea, Head of Design at Viccarbe. A corridor illuminated by orange light — the colour of our 25th anniversary — guided visitors towards the exhibition side. As Mateos describes, it was “designed to give voice to those who usually don’t have one, approaching the industry differently — through its tools, used and lived, physically surrounding us. It was not just about looking back at our own history with nostalgia, but about acknowledging the entire ecosystem that has accompanied us and will continue to do so for the next 25 years”

Voices from different design perspectives
In this space, and with the same spirit of celebrating design, Monica Armani joined Pepa Casado in a conversation about design, process, learning, and experience.

Miguel Leiro, National Design Award 2025 winner in the “Young Design Professionals” category, also took part in a talk with Rubén Mateos Brea, exploring design from a more cultural perspective — discussing his education in the USA, his professional career in Spain, competitions, young creators, and how the industry varies depending on one’s city of practice.
Democràcia studio also sat down in this orange space to share firsthand how they conceptualised and designed Viccarbe’s 25th anniversary campaign — from the initial commission to the final execution — while reflecting on how this vibrant setting has come to define Viccarbe’s presence at this edition of Feria Hábitat València.
Meike Harde, who was scheduled to attend on Monday (the day ultimately cancelled due to weather conditions), was unable to postpone her return to Germany.

This edition stands as a new expression of creativity and design, where we did not simply present new products but made a true statement: that it is possible to honour our origins and the collective memory of the industry while remaining contemporary and engaging in dialogue with design from multiple perspectives.
