Executive Offices for a Financial Firm – New York

M Moser Associates, working alongside Viccarbe, led the design of the nine floors that make up this financial firm’s new headquarters, in one of the most recently completed towers in the heart of Manhattan. With over fourteen years of experience behind it, the studio approached the project on a simple premise: put people at the center.

The result is an uncluttered space, restrained rather than showy, where substance outweighs appearance.

In the boardroom, with the Empire State Building framed in the window, Aleta Executive by Jaime Hayon meets the most demanding of meetings. Its quiet silhouette carries into the furniture the same discretion M Moser sought across the building.

Jaime Hayon designs Aleta Executive as a natural evolution of the collection into the meeting room: sinuous lines inherited from the original chair, a seat built to hold up through long hours without losing comfort, and a presence that never needs to raise its voice to make itself felt.

It is the same sensibility that defines Hayon’s work: warmth and character, even in the most corporate of settings.

How Aleta’s EPD Helped Earn LEED v4 Gold Certification

Sustainability was, for M Moser, a starting condition for this project: every design decision and every supplier had to support the LEED v4 Gold certification the building now holds.

Aleta Executive met that requirement with an EPD measuring its carbon footprint, water footprint and recyclability, with independently certified values.

That same design mindset, built on sustainability and transparency, allowed Viccarbe’s furniture to contribute to the building’s LEED v4 Gold certification.
