Viccarbe & Marset for Milan Design Week

25 April, 2024

During the Milan Design Week, the Barcelona lighting company Marset chose Viccarbe furniture for its showroom. A privileged location in a 1930s building in the heart of Brera – the Milanese design district par excellence, where the best companies in the sector meet – designed as if it were an aristocratic private home.

After crossing an inner courtyard with a fountain and a small garden, guests are welcomed into the Marset showroom. To highlight the company’s lighting pieces, the interior is dominated by plants and blue on the walls. In the living area, we can find the Savina sofa, designed by Victor Carrasco for Viccarbe, accompanied by the Bamba side table by Pedro Paulø-Venzon, Serra, Shape by Jorge Pensi and Aleta by Jaime Hayon. The room is closed off for more intimate conversations with two Colubi lounge chairs and one from the Copa collection by Ramos & Bassols.

In the dining room, a Burin table by Patricia Urquiola and Ears chairs with leather upholstery by Piero Lissoni welcome intimate dinners. In the kitchen, a counter-height Trestle table by John Pawson and Aleta stools by Jaime Hayon create a more relaxed atmosphere.

The back rooms feature Naoto Fukasawa’s Common bench, Urquiola’s Last Minute stools, Marc Krusin’s Wrapp lounge chair, two velvet Aleta lounge chairs and a meeting room with Season chairs with hidden casters.

A truly welcoming space that enhances Marset’s designs and conveys its philosophy of design, quality, and innovation that is also shared with Viccarbe’s brand values.
