We are delighted to share that Viccarbe has been honored with the 2025 National Design Award in the Design and Business category—the highest recognition granted in Spain in this field. This award, presented by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, recognizes companies that have successfully integrated design as a core pillar of their business strategy.

Viccarbe wins the 2025 National Design Award
16 July, 2025
As stated by the Ministry itself, Viccarbe is “an international benchmark in the design and manufacture of contemporary furniture and a clear exponent of the finest Spanish design.” The jury—chaired by Teresa Riesgo Alcaide, Secretary General for Innovation, and composed of Leticia Sastre Sánchez, Héctor Serrano Barbeta, Manuel Blanco Lage, Cristina Busquets Morales, Ariel Guersenzvaig, and Ignacio García Fenoll—especially valued our ability to combine excellence, innovation, quality, and environmental commitment within an exemplary model that merges global vision with local roots.

Since its founding in 2000, Viccarbe has built a solid and coherent path, committed to honest and timeless design. This vision has led to collaborations with renowned designers such as Piero Lissoni, John Pawson, Jasper Morrison, and Naoto Fukasawa, as well as Patricia Urquiola and Jaime Hayon, with whom we are proud to share this recognition—especially in the case of Urquiola, who also receives the award in this 2025 edition.

Today, Viccarbe is a team of over 120 people, a brand present in more than 80 countries, and a name that resonates in the worlds of interior design, architecture, and product design. A company that continues to make history through the creativity and dedication of everyone who has been part of our journey.
Now more than ever, Viccarbe is synonymous with design—and this National Design Award is an incredible boost to continue moving forward from Valencia with the same enthusiasm and commitment that has brought us here.
