Our social commitment takes the shape of a chair

4 July, 2025

Viccarbe is deeply committed to its local community and continues to implement socially valuable initiatives in collaboration with various associations and NGOs. This is not a one-off effort, but rather an ongoing practice that is part of the company’s DNA. Just as we support zero-kilometer production and local suppliers, caring for our immediate environment also means extending a helping hand in diverse ways to those who need it most.

On this occasion, we donated up to 100 chairs to three different organizations: the NGOs Casa Caridad and El Arca de Nazaret —with whom we collaborate on an ongoing basis—and the association AEMBE. Following the recent DANA storm, this donation will help provide a boost to “start again.”

We would like to thank the representatives of these organizations for their dedication and for their direct involvement throughout the entire process of coordinating, receiving, and delivering the Viccarbe chairs.

In the case of AEMBE, 55 chairs were donated, supporting up to 12 local businesses. As its director, Carmen Sorio, puts it: “Collaboration between companies—regardless of their size—demonstrates the strength of a united business community.”

Viccarbe’s relationship with El Arca has spanned over ten years, and with Casa Caridad, the collaboration now extends to twelve. As Esteban Burillo, program coordinator at El Arca de Nazaret, explains: “It’s a long-standing relationship of trust in the project we are developing for vulnerable children in Valencia.” This donation has allowed them to “renew two key spaces in our daily work: the study room for teenagers and the welcoming and interview area for families.”

At Viccarbe, we reaffirm our social commitment to our community, because “it’s essential for us,” says Lourdes Vañó of Casa Caridad. “NGOs need the business community to support our social projects.” And from our side, that support will continue.
