Meike Harde: the latest member of the Viccarbe family

We are thrilled to welcome Meike Harde to the Viccarbe family as the designer of our latest launch: Cubow.

Based in Cologne, Harde is a multidisciplinary designer and one of the most influential emerging voices in contemporary design. Her hallmark lies in a deep material exploration and its practical application—clearly reflected in Cubow: a geometric volume transformed into an organic form, where upholstery covers the entire piece and a soft, unique central fold adds character.

According to Meike, her creative process starts not from a single flash of inspiration, but from multiple stimuli that evolve into a sketch grounded in strong technical knowledge.

Guided by precision and sensitivity, she collaborated seamlessly with our team during every stage—from conception to final realization. In her view, Viccarbe showcases elegance and timeless design, perfectly aligned with her vision of creating enduring, emotionally meaningful objects that integrate naturally into spaces while bringing a distinct touch.

We’re proud to have Meike Harde among our designers, adding her contemporary perspective to a collection filled with renowned names, yet forming a singular voice: that of Viccarbe.
