Vetona, designed by Rubén Mateos Brea, is a height-adjustable side table that, beyond its technical precision, reveals a story rooted in craft and memory. The bench vise, drawn from the imagery of the artisan workshop, becomes the structural and symbolic axis of the design.
This element functions as a crank that regulates the gas-assisted lifting mechanism, allowing the height to be adjusted between 50 and 72 cm. This enables it to adapt to different uses: as an occasional work surface, a reading support, or a side table alongside seating. It presents itself as a timeless side table, conceived to accompany new ways of working, meeting, and inhabiting dynamic professional spaces.
Its structure combines raw-finished elements with lacquered surfaces configurable in various colors, introducing Verde Martelé as a new option that enhances its industrial character. The tabletop—available in round or rectangular formats—is crafted in solid finger-jointed oak with different finishes, establishing a balance between technical precision and material warmth.
